Colin Wilson 1931 – 2013.

I’m sad to post that Colin passed away last night (5th of December) at 11:45pm, after a lengthy illness. I will post a full appreciation very soon.

  1. I spontaneously started reading two of Colin’s books a day or so before his passing & finished the 2nd today the day after his passing. This validates Colin’s work further, although it need no further validation than the resonation I felt when I first read ‘Mysteries’ etc when they were first published. Thank you Colin for your sharing of vision, I am grateful. Long live your energy my friend.

  2. If Colin’s death marks the end of an era, it is an era that began with the celebrity of George Bernard Shaw.
I cannot think of anyone else who has made a success of the Novel of Ideas recently. Wilson was the last of the line, and only Huxley was his equal in scope and style.
His spirit will be halfway to Arcturus by now.
